Launching Asymptotic knowledge - a service that makes you smarter.
Most of the internet is noise. From falling down in the vortex of mindless Instagram reels and Tik-toks, to doom-scrolling twitter - you probably aren't happy with the way you leverage the untapped potential of the internet.
Do you feel like you could be reading, listening and watching things that make you better and smarter? But somehow just can't seem to find the right resources because you're either too busy or tired to do all that curation?
This is where we come in. We will separate the noise from the signal and send you the best of the internet. Resources that will expand your horizons and make you more curious about the world. Subscribing to this service means you can stop worrying about whether you're becoming smart with time or not, because we will take care of that.
What is the product?
We will send you 10 resources (a mix of articles, videos, podcasts) every week. These will be on a variety of topics - sciences, economics, law, social sciences, startups, government, politics to what not. We realize that to become someone truly knowledgeable, a jack of all knowledge - one needs to know many things across disciplines.
Our resources will offer you unique insights, connections and deep understanding of the topic at hand that not only will make you smarter, but will also equip you to go in rabbit holes by yourself.
These resources will be sent to you on Saturday, 11 am every week via email and on a telegram group. You can choose either option.

Why Pay at all?
You might say, “Hey Divyanshu, all of this stuff that you send us, it’s available for free on the internet, why should we pay you then?”. And it is a fair question. And the answer to that question lies in understanding opportunity cost.
In its simplest sense, an opportunity cost is the cost you pay for doing one thing instead of other, or any other thing you could have done during that time or using that energy.
You see every resource that we send you is selected after hours of curation - reading tens of articles before sending you one great one, listening to hundreds of hours of podcasts before sending you the best ones, and watching tons of videos before selecting the top quality ones. Essentially what you’re paying for is not the resource itself, you’re paying for the opportunity and time cost associated with curating those resources. You can of course do this yourself, but the costs you will incur to achieve the same standard of quality will be far, far higher than the subscription plans of this service. What this means is that instead of going for that nice drive and eating your favorite ice cream, you’ll have to spend your evening, at home, in front of a screen, to filter out a few good pieces that make you more intelligent and knowledgeable. That’s the opportunity cost you’ll have to pay. Once you buy any of our plan, you can relieve yourself with the perpetual anxiety to consume more content; and spend your time doing fun things you love. Which means you can go on that nice drive and still have the best of internet delivered to you. When you buy any of our plans, you get the best of both worlds.

How to pay?
While we figure out a better way to integrate payments, currently we’re accepting payments through NEFT and UPI. Once you decide to buy any of our plans, either in middle or after the first free month, we’ll send you the details. Looking forward to having you over!
The story behind the name
One day I was reading a bit about curves, and remembered the concepts of asymptotes.
To be asymptotic means to approach a value or curve very closely but never quite reaching it.
I think our pursuit of knowledge are likewise. We try to read, write, listen, talk etc. all through our lives in pursuit of knowledge. We get really close sometimes, but because knowledge is infinite - we never quite catch up to it. It's an eternal pursuit. An asymptotic pursuit.
